Dongguan City (official name for the foreign Dongguan, traditional Cantonese foreign name Tungkun) is China's Guangdong Province, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of the city west of the Pearl River mouth, and Guangzhou City, Shenzhen City, Huizhou City border. Dongguan as the "four tigers in Guangdong," one of the international processing industry is an important one. Dongguan in 1985 became a city in 1988, upgraded to a prefecture-level city has jurisdiction over 28 towns and four district offices, 386 village, 205 neighborhood. The total area of 2465 square kilometers, the end of 2008, the resident population of 694.98 million, of which the local household registration population of 174.87 million, the foreign resident population of 520.11 million. As of 2011, about 100 million people in Hong Kong and Macao compatriots, overseas Chinese, about 30 million people, is the famous hometown.
